«Don't turn me off» is a gallery experience, meant to be listened to ambiently while viewing...art.

Notes for the user:
Audio engine initiation:
-Open audio engine, and select preset (1).
-Set the desired bpm.
-Consider the context of your listening. Certain sections of the audio engine may take many hours to initiate, if you would like to hear a part of the audio engine with surety, consider initiating it yourself.

The accompanying images taken on a Moskva-5 camera on Ilford HP5 Plus film are examples of the.͍̼̬̦̈ͣ̇.̤ͩ.̷̥̘̣̳̒ǎ̴̘̰͕r̖̖̼̼̞͎̯͗t̮̹͗̈͋ͮ̇̓͞ that might be present in your gallery while «Don't turn me off» is playing. Audience members shouldn't be held to any requirements or guides when perusing the gallery.

«Don’t turn me off» is an algorithmic audio engine in 6 parts: the rhythm probability machine, bass synthesiser, tape sample deck**, harmony synthesisers, and ambient synthesisers. Each of which is governed by a similar harmonic framework and intelligent stereo sound design, but executed through a series of random chances that will evolve across the composition. Unlike the other parts of the audio engine, the harmony synthesisers, and the ambient synthesisers will never, ever be quieted by anyone or anything other than the user. Au mystère, the other parts will fade in and out as the audio engine chooses.
